Hello everyone.
I hope you all are doing well, and I also know you guys are craving for
( Chapati Roti ), So here I am giving you the full Recipe of Chapati Roti,
And I’m sure you will love it once you cook it, Without wasting any time let’s see the ingredients you will be needed to prepare
Chapati Roti.
Certainly! Here’s the full recipe for making Indian chapatis :-
Ingredients:-
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt(as per your test)
- Water for kneading
- Ghee or oil for cooking
Instructions:-
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt.
- Gradually add water to the flour mixture while kneading it to form a soft and pliable dough. Adjust the water as needed to achieve the right consistency. The dough should not be too sticky or too dry.
- Once the dough comes together, continue kneading it for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. This helps develop gluten in the dough, resulting in softer chapatis.
- Divide the dough into small lemon-sized balls. You can make them slightly larger or smaller depending on your preference.
- Take one dough ball and flatten it with your hands to form a small disk.
- Dust the flattened dough with flour to prevent sticking. Begin rolling it out with a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface. Roll from the center towards the edges, applying even pressure. Rotate the dough periodically to maintain a round shape.
- Roll the dough into a thin circle of about 6-7 inches in diameter. You can adjust the thickness according to your preference.
- Heat a tawa or a flat griddle over medium-high heat.
- Place the rolled chapati on the hot tawa and cook until small bubbles start to appear on the surface, usually within 30-40 seconds.
- Flip the chapati with a spatula and cook the other side for another 30-40 seconds. The chapati should develop light brown spots.
- Once cooked, remove the chapati from the tawa and place it on a plate.
- Optionally, you can brush some ghee or oil on the cooked chapati to enhance the flavor.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls, rolling and cooking each chapati one at a time.
- Serve the hot chapatis immediately, stacking them on a plate or in a covered container to keep them soft.
Chapatis are typically served as a side dish with various curries, dals, or other Indian dishes. Enjoy your freshly made chapatis !
That’s all for this one. I hope you cook this one and enjoy with your loved ones.
Thank you so much for your Love & Support.
